How much money will I make if I sell you a policy
most companies pay 85% of the first years premium minus policy fees. If I sell you a policy for $30 per month I will make about $240.00. The problem for you, the customer is that most companies will pay a higher commission if an agent does a great deal of volume with that company. If I always push Banner Life on people, eventually Banner Life will increase my commission (120%). I also would qualify for prizes (vacations, cruises, flat screen televisions). But in order to do all of that I have to sell you a product that may not be the best rate.
Banner may be the best company for you with the lowest rate...they may not me the best company.
